CLEAN OUR SCHOOL COMMITTEE

Cleanliness and beautification of the School Campus is the top most priority of our school besides teaching and learning. The first staff meeting in 2010 held on 14^th January, 2010 had agreed to the formation of Clean our School Committee (COSCOM) in our School. The aviation and idea behind this creation of COSCOM has gone our respected Principal Mr.Rozama Chawngthu. The first Office Bearer of COSCOM were:-

In the beginning cleanliness of the school was undertaken by CCA. The following glorious prices had been won by our school in cleanliness week organised by LAD(Local Administration Department).

Activities of COSCOM

COSCOM has performed many useful activities in the school. Some of them should be highlighted as follows:

1)Mass cleaning: Mass cleaning have been organised in the afternoon or for the whole day from time to time if needs arised. Recently, for the preparation of Golden Jubilee, mass cleaning had organised for three consecutive days.

2)Captain Book: Class captain book has been issued by COSCOM. It is the duty of the class captain and Asst. Captain to maintain it. They have to submit to the teacher in charge ever Friday.

3)Class of the week Competition: This competition have been running all through the year. The teacher has to give marks in the Captain book every period, the result has been announced in Monday morning. Those class which score the highest number of class of the year at the end of the academic session. There was separate prizes for high school and higher section. Winner of class of the year use to have an outing to an interesting place.

4)Demarcation Area: Demarcation area have been made for every class. All the class were told to take good care of their area, since this will carry marks in their class of the year competition. All teachers were assigned to different demarcation area for monitoring and supervision.
